Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Keck Eggers, 91, of near Roachdale died Tuesday in Sunset Manor Nursing Home at Greencastle. She had been in failing health for the past year and a half. She was born November 30, 1878 in Kentucky, a daughter of Madison and Deborah Steele Keck. In august 1897, she married Harrison Edwin Eggers. Mrs. Eggers was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Orville of North Salem and V. Bernice of Lizton; two daughters, Mrs. Flossie Booker of North Salem and Mrs. Neva Poynter of Greencastle; six grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren 8 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband. Services will be conducted by Rev. Merle Sparger at 2 p.m. Friday in Perkins Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Maysville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
